Control Apple TV with AnyMote App on Android

#1: Download and install AnyMote Universal Remote app on your Android device. You can find this app directly on the Google Play Store.

#2: Connect your Android device to the Wi-Fi network where your Apple TV is connected.

#3: Now, launch the app and tap Control my WiFi Devices option located on the bottom right corner of the screen.

#4: Select Apple TV and wait for the app to detect your streaming device. Once detected, select it.

NOTE – If you can’t find Apple TV on your Android device, ensure that both devices are on the same network.

#5: On your Apple TV, go to Settings -> Remotes and Devices > Remote Apps and Devices.

If you’re using Apple TV 3 and lesser, go to Settings -> General -> Remote.

#4: Select the AnyMote and enter the activation code displayed on the Android screen.

#5: Once the connection was made, you can control the Apple TV with your Android device.

The app will display directional buttons along with a big OK button on its main screen. At the bottom, you can find multimedia controls like Home, Menu, Play, and Keyboard.

On AnyMote app, controlling Apple TV is in the beta stage. Hence, you may experience a few issues while controlling. Instead of AnyMote, you can also use CiderTV, Peel Smart Remote, AIR Remote, and a few more.
