How to Translate a Webpage in Chrome [PC]
You can translate the webpage in the Chrome browser on your PC in three different ways. You can use the Settings menu, use the built-in translator tool, or use an extension. Remember, changing the language on Chrome is completely different from translating a webpage.
Translate a Page on Chrome by Right-Clicking
(1) Open the Chrome browser on your PC.

(2) Click on the search bar and navigate to the webpage in other languages.
(3) Right-click anywhere on the website.
(4) Click on the option Translate to English.
(5) From the popup, click on the three-dotted icon.
(6) Select the option Choose another language.
(7) Click on the drop-down menu to select the language.
(8) Finally, click on the option Done to translate the language to which you have chosen.
Translate a Page in Chrome Using Settings
When visiting a website in another language, the Chrome browser automatically shows a popup to translate. The Chrome browser translates the languages automatically to English by default. If the popup is not shown while you visit the other languages, you can enable the translate page feature manually.
(1) Launch the Chrome browser on your PC.
(2) Click on the three-dotted icon.
(3) Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
(4) Click on the Languages option from the left panel.
(5) Select the Add languages option under Order languages based on your preference.
(6) Click on the language checkbox that you want and tap Add to add the languages to your Chrome.
(7) Once you have added the language, click on the three-dotted icon near the language.
(8) Tick the Offer to translate pages in this language option.
(9) Finally, turn on the Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read toggle.
(10) Now, go to the web page of other languages. You will get the translation option from the chosen language. If the webpage is not translated, restart Chrome and revisit the webpage again.
Translate a Webpage using Extension
(1) Launch the Chrome web browser on your PC.
(2) Visit the Chrome Web Store to get extensions for the Chrome browser.
(3) Click on the search bar and search for Google translate.
(4) Select the Google Translate extension from the list of results.
(5) Click on Add to Chrome and tap Add extension to add the extension to your Chrome browser.
(6) Now, click on the Translator icon from the extension toolbar.

(7) Select the option Translate This Page.
(8) Click on the drop-down menu of Translated to from the top left.

(1) Launch the Chrome browser on your mobile and go to the website you want to translate.
(2) Tap on the three-dotted icon at the top right corner of the screen.

(1) Open the Chrome browser on your iOS device.

How to Translate a Word or Sentence on Chrome using Search
1. Launch the Chrome browser on your PC or Smartphone.
2. Click on the Search bar.
3. Enter the word or sentence and mention the language. For example: translate how you are in Japanese.
4. Tap enter or the search icon.
5. You will see the translation of how are you in Japanese. Click on the speaker symbol to hear the audio.
Note: You can also click on the microphone option to voice search and translate words or sentences into other languages.
FAQ
To disable the website translation in Chrome, go to Settings >> Language >> Turn off the Offer to translate pages that aren’t in the language you read toggle.
There is no shortcut key available on the Chrome browser to translate a webpage.
