Chromecast Google Play Music using Android/iOS device

#1: Make sure that your Chromecast and iOS/Android device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

#2: Open Google Play Music app.

Note: You can download the Google Play Music App from Google Play Store (Android) or Apple Store (iPhone/iPad)

#3: If both the devices are in the same network, the Cast icon will appear on the top of the screen. If not, check the connectivity of your device.

#4: Tap the icon and select your Chromecast device.

#5: Once the connection was made, select and play the song that you want to cast.

#6: To stop casting, click the Cast icon and select Stop Casting.

Chromecast Google Play Music using Chrome browser on PC

Google Play Music is also accessible through web browsers. With the help of the Chrome browser, you can also cast the play music songs from the PC. But, your PC and Chromecast must be on the same network to cast the songs.

#1: Open Google Chrome and go to play.google.com/music.

#2: Select and play the song or album that you want to cast.

#3: Tap the Cast icon located next to the playback controls.

#4: Select your Chromecast device.

#5: Upon selecting the device, your song will cast on the TV.

#6: To stop casting, click the Cast icon and select the device name.
