Instagram on Chromecast using Google Home
Even though the Instagram app doesn’t have the Cast icon in the user interface. You need to download the Google Home from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The casting procedure for Android and iOS smartphones are the same.
#1 Open the Google Home app on your smartphone. If you don’t have the app, download the app in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
#2 Tap the Profile button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
#3 Scroll down a bit, you will see the Mirror device option. Tap on the option.
#4 Google Home will look for Chromecast devices. Choose your Chromecast smart TV on the list.
#5 Now your smartphone will be mirrored to your smart TV. Now whatever you do on your smartphone, it will be cast to your Chromecast smart TV.
#6 Now open the Instagram app and use it on your smart TV.

Instagram on Chromecast using Chrome browser
Though Instagram is a smartphone app, some people are using it in the browser. If you are one of the browser users, you can still cast your Instagram on your Chromecast.
#1 Open your Google Chrome browser. In the search bar, type Instagram’s URL https://www.instagram.com/ and hit Enter.
#2 Login with your credentials and click Log In.
#3 After the successful login, click the three-dotted icon in the top right corner of the browser.
#4 Click the Cast option on the list.
#5 Choose your Chromecast smart TV in the devices list.
#6 Click the Sources option and choose Cast Tab.
#7 Now your Instagram profile is cast to your Google Chromecast smart TV.
#8 If you want to stop the casting process, click the Cast icon and select the Chromecast option.
