Google recently launched Chromecast with Google TV with dedicated UI, remote, and various native apps. Unlike the earlier versions of Chromecast, you can download and use various streaming applications on the device. But what to do if you couldn’t find your favorite app in the dedicated play store? First of all, we have to clear a fact that Google TV is running an Android-based OS. So we can easily sideload apps on Chromecast with Google TV with Android APK, and there are a few third-party sources that would serve the purpose. This guide will help you with the same.
How to Sideload Apps on Chromecast With Google TV
Like Firestick or Android TV, the best way to sideload apps on Google TV is the Downloader app. And another option is to use File Commander.

The sideloaded apps may not work as expected due to compatibility issues, so wait until the app’s official version to launch.
