How to Enable Parental Controls on Firestick?

Amazon’s line of Fire TV devices are the popular streaming devices used across the world. Since they are family-friendly, you want to make sure that your kids don’t access the stuff’s that are made for older people. While registering/signing in your Amazon Firestick for the first time, the device will ask you whether you want to enable the parental controls or not. Amazon has done an excellent job to ensure that parental controls can be easily activated on the Firestick devices.

How to Enable Parental Controls on Firestick?
#1: Launch your Firestick.
#2: Navigate to the Settings menu.

#3: On the settings page, select the Preferences menu.

#4: Select Parental Controls.

#5: Again tap Parental Controls on the next screen.

#5: Create a PIN for your Amazon account.

#6: That’s it. You have successfully enabled Parental Controls on Firestick. Select OK to continue.

After creating the PIN protection for your Amazon account, you need to configure the Parental controls to block the kids purchasing apps, content and other stuff.

#1: On the Parentals Control page, select Viewing Restrictions.

#2: Select the age Group to block the Kids.

#3: Select PIN Protect App Launches and PIN Protect Prime Photos App to block the Kids from accessing apps, games and Prime photos.

How to Reset PIN?
You can also change the PIN number if your child or family member found your protection code. For these simple steps to change the PIN
#1: On the Parental Controls page, select Change PIN.

#2: On the next screen, create a new password for your Amazon password.
