How to Change LastPass Password
Nowadays, it is very difficult to remember all our passwords. At the same time, using the same password for all accounts is not an ideal thing. Hence, we rely on several tools like LastPass. It is a freemium password manager that lets the users store all their passwords in a secure way. However, it is advisable to change the Lastpass password regularly. Changing your password often will keep your Lastpass account safe and secure.
LastPass stores your passwords and also your personal information in a secure vault. Therefore, it auto-fills your login credentials while visiting the respective apps and sites. It is absolutely safe and convenient to share passwords with others, such as the cable login or Wi-Fi password. The apps also have offline functionality.
How to Change LastPass Account Password
#1. Visit LastPass.com in a web browser on your PC or Mac.
#2. Tap Log in at the top right corner of the LastPass homepage.
#3. Sign in to your LastPass account using the associated email address and Master Password.
#4. Click on your profile name.
#5. Select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
#6. On the General tab, tap the Change Master Password option under the Login Credentials section.
#7. Enter your current password.
#8. Enter the new master password and re-enter it to confirm.
#9. Tap the Save Master Password button at the bottom.
You have successfully changed your LastPass Master password, and sign in back with your new password.
Note – Delete your LastPass account permanently if you think the vault is not secured or if you want to try a new password safely vault.
