How to Reset TurboTax Password

How to Reset TurboTax Password When Forgotten

[1] Launch a browser on your smartphone or PC and visit the account recovery page of TurboTax (https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery).

[2] Now, enter the email address or phone number associated with your account.

[3] Enter the verification code that you’ve received via SMS or email.

[4] Tap the Continue button, and you will have the option to change the password.

• The password must contain eight or more characters.
• Include both uppercase and lowercase letters.
• Add a symbol and number to strengthen the password.

[5] You have to enter the new password in the two fields:

• Enter New Password
• Confirm New Password

[6] Finally, tap the Continue button to save the changes.

Change TurboTax Password With Old Password

You don’t need to visit the password recovery page when you remember the current password. Instead, you can change it to a secure one from the account management page.

[1] Login to your TurboTax account by entering the required credentials.

[2] Tap your profile icon at the bottom left corner.

[3] In the Manage your Account section, tap the Sign In & Security menu.

[4] Select the Password menu to change it.

[5] Enter the new password for your account and tap the Save button.
