How to Change Language on Chrome
The steps to change the language on the Google Chrome browser varies depending on the OS.
On Windows/Linux
1. Open the Chrome browser on your device.

2. Click Customize and Control Google (vertical meatballs) icon on the top right.
3. Next, Click Settings.
Note: Type chrome://settings
in the address bar and press Enter to navigate to Chrome settings.
4. Select Languages from the sidebar, and click Add languages.
5. Search for your preferred language and click Add.
6. After adding the language, click the vertical ellipsis icon near your chosen language. Now, Click the Display Google Chrome in this language.
7. Relaunch the Chrome browser to apply the changes.
Note: If you want to view the browser content from the newly added language, click Move to the top. So that it will move first, and the content on Chrome will be seen in the desired language.
Similarly, if you want to translate a web page, click Offer to translate pages in this language checkbox. Some social media platforms offer built-in options to change the language. You can change the Facebook Messenger language in the app’s settings. You can view the pages in your preferred language by clicking the translate icon on the right end of the address bar.
Also, to change the desired language in Google Search, search anything on Google → Below the search bar, click Settings → Languages → Select the preferred one → Save.
Remove Language on Chrome [Windows]
1. Launch the Chrome browser and click on the Chrome menu.
2. Select the Settings option and choose Language.
3. On the right panel, choose the meatballs icon next to the language you want to delete.
4. Click Remove, and the language will be removed from Chrome.
Note: You can follow the same steps to remove languages on Android devices as well.
On macOS
Unfortunately, Chrome doesn’t offer the feature to change the language within the browser on Mac. Hence, you need to change the language by Mac/Macbook settings.
1. On your Mac, click the Apple icon.
2. Select System Preferences from the list.
3. Click Language & Region.

Note: If you use macOS Catalina and later versions, you can change the language individually for Apps and Systems.

Alternative Method
You can only change the language on Chrome using Settings on iOS 12 and earlier versions.
