1. Open Firefox on your Windows or Mac. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, click here to download it.

2. Click on the hamburger menu and click Settings.

3. Click on Search, and tap the drop-down menu under the Default Search Engine. Select the search engine from the available options.

1. To add a custom search engine in Firefox, go to the website. Click on the address bar.

2. Click on Bubble or Three dots on the respective icon (Here, we have added a Twitter).

Note: If you have trouble adding a search engine, clear the cache on Firefox and try adding again.

Restore Built-in Search Engine

1. Go to Firefox Settings → Search.

2. Select the search engine and click on Restore Default Search Engines.

Hide & Remove Search Engine

To hide the search engine,

1. Hit the Menu button and select Settings.

2. In the Settings tab, select Search in the left pane.

3. Under Search Shortcuts, undo the tick next to each search engine you don’t want to use.

1. Launch the Firefox app on an Android phone, click the three dots, and select Settings.
