If you are a binge-watcher like me, Netflix must be your go-to app to watch your comfort series or favorite movie. I use my Philips Android TV to watch Netflix content, and I didn’t have to install the app since it came pre-installed. Apart from Philips Android TV, the Netflix app is also pre-installed on all other versions of the Philips Smart TV.
I use the Netflix button on my TV remote to launch the app on my TV instantly. For me, it seems to be the simplest approach to launch the app on the Philips TV.
In rare cases, the Netflix app won’t be pre-installed on your Philips Smart TV. In that case, I suggest you manually install the app on your Philips TV. To make it even easier, use this guide on installing Netflix on your Philips TV.
How to Install and Activate Netflix on Philips Smart TV
To access any Netflix content, you must subscribe to the service. If you are already a subscriber of Netflix, follow the steps to get the app installed on your Philips TV.
Otherwise, I suggest you opt for the Standard with ads plan starting at 6.99/month if you are new to Netflix. It doesn’t offer any free trial. You can visit Netflix’s official website to subscribe to the plan.
