How to Watch HBO Max on Chromecast [2021]
HBO Max is the new entrant in the streaming world. Launched on May 27, 2020, HBO Max hosts plenty of blockbuster movies from the various sources. How to Cast HBO Max to Chromecast using Android and iOS devices
The Android and iOS version of HBO Max has built-in support to cast the media contents on Google Chromecast. Ensure that your Chromecast and the casting device (Android or iOS) was connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 1: On your Android or iOS device, launch the HBO Max app and select a movie or TV show to watch.
Step 2: Tap the Cast button on the media player.
Step 3: The device will search for the nearby devices connected to the same network.
Step 4: Select your Chromecast device and the video will appear on the TV.
How to Cast HBO Max to Chromecast using Computer
Just like the above method, your Chromecast and the Chrome installed PC or Mac must be on the same Wi-Fi network for casting.
Step 1: Open Chrome browser and visit hbomax.com.
Step 2: On the top right corner of the browser, tap the three dot menu icon and select the Cast menu.
Step 3: Select your Chromecast device to cast the contents.
Step 4: Select and play a movie or TV show and it will appear on the TV.
Step 5: Once you finished watching the movie or TV show, click the Cast icon again and select your Chromecast device to stop the casting.
