ITVX, or ITV Hub, is another free British streaming service that offers best movies and TV series to its subscribers. I instantly fell in love with the content library of the ITV Hub and have been using the app regularly to stream movies on my Philips Android TV. Apart from on-demand content, I also enjoyed streaming some of the live TV shows and catch-up shows that are available on the ITVX streaming service.
The ITVX app is available on all the different versions of the Philips Smart TV, except the Philips Smart TV, which runs on the NetTV OS. You can install the app on your Philips Smart TV from the respective app store of your operating system.
Use my detailed guide on how to install and activate the ITVX app on different versions of the Philips Smart TV app. Just like other streaming apps, I faced issues while streaming on ITVX too, so I have also included some fixes to solve the issues.
ITVX Geo-Restricted?
The ITVX or ITV Hub is only available to stream in the UK region. So, if you live outside the UK region like me, you cannot watch the ITVX content on your Philips Smart TV. To fix this geo-restriction issue, I tried using VPN services like ExpressVPN and NordVPN. Using a VPN, I connected to a London server to install and watch ITVX content on my Philips Android TV.
