How to Add YouTube on Vizio SmartCast TV
Vizio SmartCast TVs come preinstalled with YouTube, and you can access the app from your TV’s Home screen. If so, then jump to the YouTube sign-in procedure. But, if you cannot find the app, follow the steps below to add it to your TV’s home screen.

1. Turn on your Vizio TV and connect it to the internet.
2. Go to the Home screen of your Vizio TV.
3. Press the Left direction button on your SmartCast remote and go to the Menu section.
4. Scroll down on it and click on the Apps option. You’ll be taken to the Apps section.
5. If you can’t find YouTube listed on the front page, go to the App Search subsection and search for YouTube.
6. Select YouTube from the search results and go to its app page.
7. Click + Home Screen and add YouTube to your Vizio TV Home screen.
After it gets added, you can access the app from the Apps & Inputs section.
How to Install YouTube on Vizio Internet Apps Plus [VIA Plus]
You can download YouTube on your Vizio Internet Apps Plus TV. The procedure to install the app from the Yahoo app store is as follows.
1. Power on and connect VIA Plus TV to WIFI.
2. After this, press the V button on your TV remote twice and get to the Apps section. There you can see all the installed apps as well as Featured, Latest Apps, etc.
3. Go to the respective section and search for the YouTube app.
4. Now, go to the app; press and hold the OK button of your remote.
5. Release the button once YouTube gets installed on your Vizio TV, and you can find the app under the My Apps section.
How to Install YouTube on Vizio Internet Apps [VIA]
The older version of Vizio TV ie; Vizio Internet Apps, has the YouTube app. To install the app on your TV,
1. Turn on and connect your VIA TV to the internet.
2. Click the V button on your Vizio TV remote.
3. From the list, click on Connected TV Store and select All Apps.
4. Navigate to YouTube from the list of available apps and click OK on your remote.
5. In the following screen, click on Install App and install YouTube on your Vizio Internet Apps TV.
How to Sign In to YouTube on Vizio TV
You can use YouTube to its full potential only if you sign in to your YouTube account. To sign in, YouTube offers three ways, and you can use any of those ways to do it. Therefore, launch the YouTube app on your Vizio TV and click on the Sign in option. After this, follow the procedure of your choice.

2. Now, a Web activation link (youtube.com/activate) along with an Activation code is displayed on your TV.
TIP: A QR code is also displayed alongside. Scanning the code will redirect you to YouTube’s activation website.
3. Open the web link on a browser; enter YouTube’s Activation code in the required space and click on Continue.
4. Now, select the Google account that is linked to YouTube and click on Allow.
5. After this, the YouTube app on your Vizio TV refreshes and takes you into your account.
Sign In With YouTube Credentials
This is the most direct way to log in to your YouTube account on Vizio TVs. Here’s how,
1. On the Sign-in screen, click on Use your remote.
2. Enter the e-mail address and password of the Google account associated with YouTube.
3. After this, follow the on-screen procedure to sign in to your YouTube account on Vizio TV.
