DeviantArt is a social media site that allows artists to post their artworks publicly. Other users can post their comments, reviews, and likes for your posts, and ultimately, you can also view your friends’ work. DeviantArt is the best platform for beginners to exhibit their arts and mingle with other artists. Despite having many advantages, users may want to leave DeviantArt to try out another platform. In that scenario, DeviantArt lets you delete the account permanently.

Before deleting the account, you should consider the following things.

• Your account will be deleted permanently along with all the deviations and journals in your account. 
• You will not be able to access back the same username again. 
• The comments in your account will remail the same. However your username wiill be striked out. 
• You use your account only to review the previous purchase activity.
• The balance transfer points will remain the same. However, you will not be able to transfer them.
• You can no longer be a part of the DeviantArt community.

How to Cancel DeviantArt Subscription

Before deleting your account, it is important to cancel the DeviantArt subscription that you opted for.

iPhone/iPad

• Open Settings on your device and click your Apple ID in the top of the screen.
• Choose the Subscriptions section.
• Choose DeviantArt Core Membership and click on Cancel Subscription.
• Finaly, confirm that you want to cancel your Core Membership.

Android Devices

• Open Google Play store app on your Android smartphone or tablet.
• Click on your profile icon to view the menu.
• Click Payments & subscriptions.
• From the list of options displayed, click on Subsciptions.
• Search for DeviantArt Core Membership from the list of subscriptions.
• Select Cancel Subscription and confirm.

• Visit deviantart.com.
• Sign in to your account using your account username and password.
• Click on your profile icon and choose Account Settings optin from the menu displyed.
• Click Billing and Payments option under the settings section in the left panel.
• Finally, under the payment method, turn off auto-aenewal by clicking on the toggle option right next to it.

How to Delete Deviantart Account

After canceling the subscription, you can delete the account without any hassle.

[1] Visit deviantart.com (official DeviantArt website) on your browser.

[2] Sign in to your account using the DeviantArt account credentials.

[3] Click on your Profile icon located in the upper right corner of the screen. From the menu displayed, choose Account Settings.

[4] Click the Deactivation option on the left side panel.

[5] On the next page, click the Yes, deactivate my account button at the bottom of the screen.

[6] You will now be prompted to enter your password. Enter the password in the given field and click Yes, send me the verification email button.

[7] Head over to your email inbox and open the mail from Deviantart. Click the DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT button in the email.

[8] You will now be directed to another page. Once again, click Yes, deactivate my account option.

[9] Select a reason to delete your account using the drop-down menu and click Confirm button at the bottom.

[10] You have successfully registered for your account deletion. It takes up to 21 business days for your account to be deactivated.
