How to Delete Quora Account Permanently
Quora is a popular online community to post your questions and answers. But if you want to leave the Quora platform, you can leave it temporarily by deactivating the account or leave it permanently by deleting the account. Regardless of the reason, deleting the Quora account will remove access to the following things.
- Messages, upvotes, data, and your personal information including profile photos and bio.
- Your comments and the blog posts that you’ve shared in the Quora community.
- Your questions & answers and any endorsements that have been made will be erased after deleting your Quora account.
If you don’t want to lose these data, deactivate your Quora account temporarily and get back to your account whenever you want.
Browser/app – Log in to your account → select your profile picture → click on Settings → choose Privacy → tap Delete account → enter your password and delete the account.
How to Deactivate the Quora Account Temporarily
1: Log in to your Quora account through your mobile app or desktop version.
2: Click on your profile picture and select “Settings” from the menu.
3: On the left-hand side, go to the Privacy tab.
4: Scroll down to the page and select the “Deactivate” button.
5: A pop-up will appear for confirmation. Click on Deactivate button.
How to Delete Your Quora Account Permanently Using Browser
[1] Open a browser and log in to www.quora.com.
[2] At the top right corner, click on the profile picture and select “Settings.”
[3] Choose the Privacy tab on the account settings page.
[4] Scroll down to the bottom. You’ll see two options: Deactivate Account and Delete Account.
[5] Since you want to delete the account along with its data, click on the Delete Account option.
[6] Enter your account password for confirmation and click on the Done option.
How to Delete Your Quora Account Permanently Using Mobile App
[1] Launch the Quora app on your smartphone and ensure that you’re logged into the appropriate account.
[2] Select your profile icon on the top left corner and choose the Settings menu.
[3] Tap the Privacy Option.
[4] Scroll down to the bottom to select the Delete Account option.
[5] For security purposes, enter the account password and click on the Done button.
Note – After submitting the deletion request, your account will be deleted after 14 days. So make sure to not sign in to your account for the next 14 days.

For security purposes, Quora will prompt you to enter the password while deleting the account. So, you can’t delete it without entering the password. If you can’t remember the current password, use the forgot password link and reset the Quora password.
On Quora, you can delete only the questions posted by you. You can’t delete someone’s question.
** Login to your account.

** Click on the three-dot icon next to the question.
** Select the Remove Question option.
