How to Delete Clubhouse Account Permanently

The Clubhouse is an improved version of a social network based on voice. People around the world can talk, listen and learn from each other. It is an audio-based social media app. It is available for both Android and iPhone users. Clubhouse gives data protection and privacy to keep user information safe. You can delete your Clubhouse account if you feel insecure while using this app.

But Clubhouse does not provide a direct option to delete their account. Instead, you should deactivate your account by submitting the online deletion request form or by sending the deletion request email.

How to Delete a Clubhouse Account Using Website

#1. Go to the Clubhouse support page.

#2. Under the Submit a request section, click on the drop-down.

#3. Select Privacy, Data Requests, & Account Deletions from the drop-down menu.

#4. Enter your registered email address and username. Select I want to delete my account under the “How can we help you? drop down.”

#5. Enter your phone number, and write a reason for deleting your account in the Subject field.

#6. You can attach the screenshot document.

#5. Click on the Submit button.

Once your account has been deleted, you will receive a confirmation mail to your associated email address.

After submitting the deletion request form, it will take 30 days to permanently disable/delete your Clubhouse account. If you have changed your mind about using this account again, you can reactivate it within 30 days of submission. You will lose all your account’s data and information after 30 days.

How to Delete Clubhouse Account on App

#1. Launch the Clubhouse app on your smartphone.

#2. Tap on your profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.

#3. Click on the gear-shaped Settings icon.

#4. Tap on your username and select the Account option.

#5. Disconnect Twitter or Instagram in the Optional settings.

#6. Tap Deactivate Account button.

#7. Read the instructions on the screen and tap the “I Understand. Deactivate Account” button.

How to Delete Clubhouse Account Via Email

[1]. Open the Clubhouse app and tap on your profile icon.

[2]. Tap on @ symbol in the top right corner.

[3]. Enter your email address associated with your Clubhouse account and tap the Verify button.

[4]. Click OK on the popup screen and verify it from your email inbox.

[5]. Now, compose the mail to [email protected] and type Delete My Account in the Subject.

[6]. Enter the username, phone number, email address, and your deletion request message in the body section and hit the Send button.

The customer support team will send you the confirmation mail once your clubhouse account has been deleted.

The Clubhouse app doesn’t allow you cannot create another account with the same mobile number and username within 30 days of deleting the account request. You can create a new account using the same mobile number after 30 days but can’t use the same username.
