How to Deactivate or Delete Your OfferUp Account

OfferUp is a perfect platform to buy and sell things quickly. Unlike other marketplaces, Offerup.com doesn’t let its user delete their account permanently. However, one can deactivate their account by visiting the deactivation page. After deactivation, they can reactivate their account at any time by using the same email address and password.

If you no longer want to use the OfferUp Service, deactivating it will be a fine choice. It will delete all the messages you’ve sent to the other OfferUp users & all the listed and archived items from your OfferUp account. It will also prevent your account from the risk of being used by someone else without your knowledge.

How to Cancel OfferUp Promote / Promote Plus Subscription

Before deleting the OfferUp account, you need to cancel the Promote or Promote Plus subscription you’ve signed up for.

On Android:

Launch Google Play Store.
Click on your profile icon.
Select Payments and subscriptions.
Choose Subscriptions.
Select the OfferUp subscription and cancel it.

On iPhone/iPad:

Go to Settings.
Click on your Apple ID or name.
Choose Subscriptions.
Select the OfferUp subscription.
Click on Cancel Subscription.

How to Deactivate or Delete OfferUp Account

If you think that OfferUp is not a legit platform to sell your stuff or buy things, then deactivate your account immediately with the below steps.

1. Visit the OfferUp deactivation page using your mobile, PC, or Mac browser.

2. Login with the necessary credentials of your OfferUp account.

3. Select the reason for leaving the OfferUp.

4. Choose the Deactivate My Account option.

5. On the next screen, click on ‘Yes, I’m sure.’

6. Finally, tap the Done option, and it will redirect you to a page where you can see the “Account inactive” option at the top.
